Where Do They Put Although in the Sentence

The paper below is an unpublished student paper submitted to Professor Seth @ CMU as the final project write-up for his class Introduction to R.

In this paper, I discussed how Chinese students place "although" clauses. The main takeaways are:

(1) Chinese students don't place "although" clauses the way native speakers do.

(2) Chinese students have trouble writing reduced adverbial clauses.
